Grand Knight’s Report:

  • Silver Rose Program event went very well. It was well-received by St. Joe’s. The members discussed it.
  • There are upcoming Pro-Live events. (Pro-Life Chairman will send a communique to the Grand Knight and to the Recorder with more in-depth information).
  • Re: Prospective Hike at Mathison State Park: no word from the Blue Knights. The Grand Knight will plan an unofficial get-together. Discussion on dates and how the event will be announced transpired. A date was fixed for the hike for September 30, starting at 10 AM (doors open at 9 AM).
  • Reminder: Knights of Columbus Ball at St. Mary’s in Mokena on October 14th.
  • Thanks to the Brs. Stanley Malnar and James Holuj, Sr. for landscaping St. Joseph’s campus.
  • St. Paul’s Street Evangelization this Saturday in Winfield.
  • This Saturday, St. Joseph’s will have a meeting with officials from the Chancellery of the Diocese of Joliet at 9 AM re: diocese parish consolidation plan for the Deanery of Joliet. All who are available, please come and show your support and commitment to the parish.

  • Hike & Pro-Life events covered.
  • This council would like to find a way to get + Hicks to St. Joseph’s. This was discussed.
  • Discussion on this council doing something for Veteran’s Day, Columbus Day, etc., as well as a Christmas Party for December 30th.
