Corpus Christi Procession: How will we be identifying ourselves as a council during the procession and at the event? GK shared the idea of Armband displaying the St. Joseph’s Shield which was discussed at the Officer’s Meeting and opened it up to discussion.
Br. Brian brought back up the idea of a Traditional St. Joseph’s banner for our council which we discussed earlier in the year. It won’t be for June, but we’ll want to make sure it stays on the radar for next year.
The patch for the armbands is $3.95 and Br. Jim has a neighbor that might be tapped for the assembly running it approximately $10 per armband.
Br. Bob asked if we considered “Social Baldricks” however those are reserved for 4th Degree and DD Steve mentioned the yellow and white sashes which are $26.
DD mentioned that Officers can wear there Jewels along with our name badges.
Br. Erik recommended we table the conversation until our next event, and we use what we have for Corpus Christi (name badges/jewels)
Br. Brian will lead up a committee for research and fact finding on the banner idea.
