Chaplain’s Message:Fr. reminds us that a lot of times we do things we need to do, not necessary what we want to do. That’s not to say the things we need to do are all that bad or unpleasant in themselves. Frs. recent out-of-town commitments had him reflect on his responsibility as priest and as a man as well and the notion of Authentic Masculinity bounced to mind. It appears at Easter, who else could to what Christ did except the most masculine manly man in the Universe and this is something we can take to heart and imitate. Because we are men, we must do what men do, which is completely foreign to what goes on out “there,” where people have no idea of reality anymore. People can be whatever they want to be, which is the most ridiculous and asinine thing. It’s one of the opportunities we must take stock of ourselves and to ask ourselves do we really do all the things we as men are supposed to do? Do we do the things as Catholic men are supposed to do? Do we really do the things as husbands and fathers are supposed to do? This is what he wanted to remind us of all, we don’t necessary get to do all the things we want to do. He asks us to think about this and reevaluate from time to time and recommit ourselves to our authentic masculinity.

Website Committee: Br. Andrew along with the Officers would like to put up for vote the website name of 18037kofc.org with 10 Years domain hosting ($106). Motion made by Br. Erick and seconded by Br. Stan. Discussion took place: It was pointed out by Br. Mike Enos that most councils have the “kofc” before the council number. Br. Julian asked if we had a process of the name development or if we discussed alternatives. Br. Andrew explained that the intention was to follow standards set by other councils in the area. The idea of breaking up the motion into votes was suggested by Br. Julian. However, it was decided to amend the motion.
Br. Erik amended the motion to the new address kofc18037.orgwith 10 Years domain hosting ($106), seconded by Br. Julian, approved without objection, motion passes.
