Recognition of Guests and Dignitaries: None present.

Grand Knight’s Report:Thank you and acknowledgement to the following: the Officers for our efforts to get our by-laws passed as, the Financial Secretary, Treasurer and Trustees on completing the audit, the Degree Team (Br’s. Paul, Stan, & Glenn for participating and Br’s. Erik, Zach & Kevin for attendance) at Leo’s Exemplification, Br. Stan’s work in the Rectory, Br. Erik’s work in the gym, Br. Jim Sr.’s work on the lights, Br. Paul for pizzas & Br. Stan for donating drinks at our last meeting, and Father Magiera for approving our last-minute Exemplification.

All required Chairman positions have been filled, Br. Joe Fiermerosca (Family Chair) and Br. Kevin Ruiz (Retention Chair).

Thank you cards for the Jewels from the State, and donations from Chapter, Assembly and Supreme have all been mailed out.

We’ll be having a Field Agent assigned to the council, we need two seminars for Star Council.

Chapter gives our the Cardosi Award (recognizing outstanding commitment and service to parish, community, and the Knights of Columbus) once a year to an exemplary Knight. We’d like to nominate Fr. Magiera and Worthy Grand Knights has already began filling out the paperwork.

State Convention is coming up April 21st – April 23rd in Springfield and it would be nice to send two delegates.

Deputy Grand Knight’s Report:Nothing to report.

Chancellor’sReport:Has resources for the entire council that he’d like to distribute so we can be coached up on our faith.

It’d be great to some speakers in to talk with the Council and Br. Michael has sent an email to Doug Berry of the US Grace Force to see what it may take to bring him in.

Had a conversation with Laurie Brown of Flame of Love and there are several options to consider seminar discussion (council, event for family and friends and parish wide community).  He’ll share his findings with Father and see what will be the best fit.

Prayer Night in the gym, recommends getting the wives of the parish involved as it’s good word of mouth.  Displaying who we are and what we are up to as a traditional council will go far beyond passing our cards a Mass.  This also great opportunity partner with Family.

Recorder’s Report:Nothing to report.

Financial Secretary’s Report:Nothing to report other than billing statements for yearly dues are ready and being passed out. $30 per member which can paid either cash or check.

Treasurer’s Report:$10 cash donation and it was deposited in bank, and we have $285.00 in the account. Br. Paul has donated the pizza reimbursement to the council.

Lecturer’s Report:Has been working on the Family Movie Night (in the gym) and proposes March 25th.  Br. Erik distributed a handoutof his number crunching of the Event.  A Popcorn Popper is the main item of overhead, however there might be a couple of sources for donation.  Projection is covered but will need to test and confirm sound.  Bring a blanket kind of vibe.

June is a good month for “Go Fish and Fry” event and will start getting that idea in the workings.

Lastly, Br. Erik has embarked in his own business and is no longer a Field Agent with the K of C.

Warden’s Report:Nothing to report.  Discussed with Daniel about a room at the school but still need to have a further discussion with Father.

Trustees Report:Audit completed.

Program Reports:Faith: March for Life Illinois taking place in Springfield on Tuesday, March 21st.  March begins at 1pm and it’d be nice to have representation.  We’ll investigate transit options going to and from.

Committees: We’d like to represent well at events like our Corpus Christi procession.  There was discussion on shirts, polos or something that will unify us that would go along with our suits.  We’ll discuss with Father as to what might be appropriate and decide from there.

Respect for Life: 40 Days for Life is being and runs along with Lent. There are many locations in which we can volunteer, and we’ll bring up the idea of doing something together as a council at a site.

Website: still being explored, Julian and Glenn have expressed interest and Zach mentioned his brother does websites a well.

Officers Online, certain roles have access to resources that help breakdown responsibilities; https://www.kofc.org/en/for-members/resources/fraternal-operations.html?1tab=1tab2
